[English]

Values play a fundamental role in shaping individual behaviors and attitudes; however, when differing values come into conflict within group environments such as universities, managing these conflicts gains particular significance. As young adults in the process of shaping their identities and value systems, students encounter numerous value conflicts that can impact their social interactions and academic performance. Aiming to analyze value conflict management strategies in the religious experience of female students based on the framework of Schwartz's theory of values, this study examines methods and approaches for coping with this challenge. In terms of purpose, this is an applied study, and methodologically, it adopts a qualitative thematic analysis approach. Data were gathered through semi-structured interviews with 215 undergraduate female students at the Islamic Azad University, Isfahan Branch, and analyzed using Braun and Clarke's inductive-applied thematic analysis approach. The findings revealed that when confronted with structural conflicts between conservation values (security, conformity, tradition) and openness to change values (self-direction, stimulation), students draw upon complex strategies such as creative integration, personal redefinition, rational consultation, and the search for practical balance. This process not only demonstrates their active agency in constructing the meaning of religiosity in the secular age, but also outlines a pattern of dynamic adaptation that can serve as a basis for educational interventions and cultural policymaking. This study demonstrates that student religiosity is a reflexive and adaptive project shaped within the field of globalized and local forces.
